Interestingly enough, Rouge's canon win over Blue is confirmed on Fuse's Quest. In doing so Rouge manages to hold back hell, defeating Hell's Lord and reuniting with his friends. In the end, after returning to the Magic Kingdom, Rouge discovers that he and Blue were one on the same, his soul split in two to allow him to master all kinds of magic and become the Ultimate Magician. This gift is subsequently used by Rouge to revive the previously defeat TimeLord who was bested by Blue on his quest for Time Magic. The fateful duel is won by Rouge, who absorbs his other half Blue, merging the two personalities and unlocking the holy gift of Life Magic. In canon, thanks to the info presented in the books "The Essence of Saga Frontier" and "The Complete of SaGa Frontier" Blue gets the gift of Light, Rune and Time Magic while Rouge gets Shadow, Arcane and Space Magic. If Blue loses the duel, Rouge absorbs him and completes his quest. And that’s why the Principal’s orders at the graduation ceremony are to “Kill your twin sibling!” The existence of the Covert Academy is the kingdom’s most important secret-one of the twins was kept there and learned Realm Magic while the other did the same at the Overt Academy. As a matter of fact, the Magic Kingdom has two institutes called the “Overt Academy” and “Covert Academy”. When Blue was attending his graduation ceremony, Rouge was elsewhere in the Magic Kingdom simultaneously receiving orders to kill Blue. Rouge had also begun warming up to them his experiences in the outside world helped change his formerly cold personality for the better. This is the first step in his change of attitude that will allow him to escape Hell by breaking his bonds after hearing the calls of his friends.

Interestingly enough, according to the official canon of Saga Frontier on "The Essence of Saga Frontier", Rouge warms up to other during his quest and manages to get the Gift of Space magic without killing Kylin. ĭespite this he can be recruited by other characters and, in contrast to Blue's calm and ruthless attitude, he has a lighthearted disposition. He has somewhat of a cold attitude toward others he encounters during his journey and his rudeness has him teleported out of Kylin's Paradise on his quest for Space Magic. Like his counterpart Rouge's focused on his quest for magic power. One distinguishing feature between the two is the air style: whereas Blue has an high ponytail, Rouge keeps his air down giving him a wilder appearance. Rouge wears the same clothing as Blue, aside for them being colored red.
